Anti-Discrimination Policy

The purpose of this Anti-Discrimination Policy is to affirm the Trackhawk Foundation’s commitment to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. 5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Employment Discrimination: Discriminatory practices in hiring, promotion, compensation, benefits, training, and termination.
  • Harassment: Includes but is not limited to verbal abuse, offensive jokes, inappropriate touching, and other behaviours that create a hostile work environment.
  • Retaliation: Any adverse action taken against an individual for reporting discrimination or participating in an investigation.

6. Procedures for Reporting Discrimination

  • Reporting Mechanisms: Employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders who believe they have experienced or witnessed discrimination or harassment should report it to their immediate supervisor, the Human Resources department, or any member of the management team.
  • Confidentiality: Reports will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. The identity of the complainant will be protected to the extent possible.

7. Investigation and Resolution

  • Investigation Process: All reported incidents of discrimination or harassment will be promptly and thoroughly investigated. The investigation will include interviews with the complainant, the accused, and any witnesses.
  • Resolution: Based on the findings of the investigation, appropriate actions will be taken to address the issue. This may include disciplinary action against individuals found to violate the policy.

8. Disciplinary Actions

  • Consequences for Violation: Individuals found to have engaged in discriminatory behaviour or harassment may face disciplinary actions, up to and including termination of employment or volunteer service.
  • Corrective Measures: The organization will take corrective measures to prevent the recurrence of discriminatory practices and ensure a supportive environment for all individuals.

9. Training and Education

  • Mandatory Training: All employees, volunteers, and board members will receive training on anti-discrimination policies and practices to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Ongoing Education: The Trackhawk Foundation will provide ongoing education and resources to promote awareness and prevent discrimination.

10. Policy Review

  • Regular Review: This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure it remains effective and in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Feedback Mechanism: Feedback from employees and stakeholders on the effectiveness of the policy is encouraged and will be considered in policy reviews.
